Moving and Moving On

People move away for all kinds of reasons. Some for work, some for their loved ones, others to find new adventures and then there the ones who move to move on.
Thousands of people have probably told you it doesn't work, because it doesn't matter where you are your problems will be with you and because of that its simply not worth it. I recently found out those people are only partially correct.
It is true your problems go with you but they only stay with you if allow them to. When you arrive in a new place your over-flooded with new experiences and people, and while it it is true those are just distractions, isn't everything ? When it hurts, it hurts and distracting yourself is something your gonna do anyway, let it be a night out with the girls in your home town or in a bar full of stranger 1000 miles away.
So what makes them so different ? Whats the point of leaving to distract myself if i can do that right where i am ? Well when your somewhere new, you leave behind all the physical things that remind you of your problem, like a specif item in your room, or a park near your house. Your on your own and the world is your playground. You get to make new memories, rediscover yourself without fear of judgement from those who claim to know to you "since ever", you get to let go, take chances and see where they take you. And its on one of those moments you'll most probably realize you hadn't thought about your problem for a few days, and maybe even a few months. If that's ever happen to you, then you know how good it feels to know you managed to forget it to leave it behind even if just for a little while and from that point on it'll only get easier, because if you did once you can do it again, with the the advantage of knowing what works for you!
So take it from someone who's done it a few times, things get better and choosing to get some distance doesn't always mean running away, cause what I'm sure even more people have told you is that you cant see the solution cause your to close to the problem, sometimes distance is the best remedy. take a weekend away to a place where you've never been or decide to go to college in a new continent it doesn't matter just take time, back off from the problem whatever it may be and live, because all that time your wasting analyzing and reanalyzing your situation, all the things you could've or should've, isn't coming back. Your not gonna get a second change at all hours and days your wasting.. cause time doesn't wait for anyone and sometimes closure is a commodity you wont have. People all over the world manage, why wont you!?
Its all about you and how you chose to see and do things.
